I love Yuchi, and it is all that I put in for. I live close by, and I love the lay of the land. It has a very good population with good, diverse habitat on the river. I know that many people hunt it for the big buck chances, but very few monsters are killed off of it each season. Many decent to good 6-8s are killed each year, with the occasional 9+, but those aren't the norm. I don't know how far away you live, but only you can tell if it is worth it to you.

That all I ever put in for . I agree that I don't think you will kill that once in a lifetime buck but there are some decent bucks around and as you stated I really like hunting the area ! It has just about any type habitat you like to hunt , great area .

I killed this one at Yuchi 2 years ago on the October 11th bow hunt. Always has been a great hunt
