Story: "It was late afternoon on November 26, 2003. The weather was a cool 52 as I looked at the temp gage. I had just seen a big doe working around a corn field and a young bob cat had just entered the clover field. Then I saw him, a nice 7 point buck entering the field at about 250 yards away. I raised my 30/30 and scoped his rack. I wanted to get him in a liitle closer so I used a call a couple of times and here he came. I placed the rifle sites directly behing his shoulder and pulled the trigger. To my amazement he turned and ran toward the corn field to the right. He stood looking to find where the shot had been fired. I took a rest with the gun barrel and shot the buck in the neck and he fell where he stood. This was the first buck I had taken in nearly thirteen years. I want to thank my brother Tim for letting me use his deer stand to take such a nice deer."
