Story: "I had three deer come up and decided to take the largest doe. They worked their way past me, but I couldn't get clear a shot. I heard another deer stomp its foot behind me, and I slowly turned to see another doe about thirty yards out that had apparently spotted me moving in my tree. I froze to keep from spooking her. A few minutes later I heard another heavy deer walking down the far ridge. It sounded like a buck and sure enough I saw antlers, and it appeared to be a decent eight point. I figured when he got close enough and was behind a tree I could quickly turn and get a shot at him even if the doe spooked. Before He got close though, the doe decided that she had had enough and ran to the far ridge in front of him. He followed and stopped to watch her in a small opening about a hundred yards out. The old smoke pole dropped him in his tracks!"
