Story: "I had saw several does and a couple of smaller bucks at long distances from stand. I decided to get down from the stand at 10:00 AM. When I got back within sight of the truck I noticed a deer about 300 yards away and could tell that he had a nice rack without even scoping him. So I quickly went around a hill with a hollow and another hill between me and the buck. I dropped down and crawled up the hill that the buck was below and when I got to the top of the hill the buck had almost crossed the corn field and was approaching the woods. I scoped him from about 200 yards and knew that I wanted to shoot him. I shot and missed. He looked up but did not know where the shot had come from. I quickly ejected the hull and fired again, dropping him in his tracks. I had hit him in the neck as he was feeding on corn."
