Story: "I was hunting overlooking a clover field and a corn field. I decided to put out a decoy with some scent bombs covered with scent. The wind was blowing hard from the west so I knew the scent would be carried a good ways. After seeing several dogs, I thought that my hunt was pretty much over. My dad was hunting about 300 yards away and he was seeing some dogs to. He told me since we was already here we might as well stay till dark. Around 4:30 pm I spotted another dog coming right to me. He came walking not 10 yards and kept going by. While I could still see the dog something caught my eye in the edge of the field where the dog was heading. Here came this buck with his head in the air looking staight at my decoy. I was worried he would see or smell the dog, but he never did. At 70 yards I dropped him in his tracks. Needless to say he never got to check out my decoy."
