Story: I was hunting a mixture of thicket and Hardwoods. The deer came in at approximately 9:30 a.m. and when I seen him he was behind me. He staired me eye to eye for 10 full minutes never taking his eyes off of me. I could tell he was a buck but I had no idea how big he was. He was intangled in such thick brush that I had to take a not so great shot. I thought I had missed him on my first shot when after the shot he ran about 30 yards and stopped directly under my stand. I shot again and he took off running, then after I shot one more time he dropped in his tracks. 5 minutes later as I walked to where he was laying I discovered that all 3 shots were clean hits, all to the heart and lung area. The deer has been unofficially scored at approximately 140 Boone and Crockett but I havent taken him to be scored officially.
