Story: I'd hunted for 6 straight days, morning and afternoon, 7 hours each day, my wife had too. We'd seen several small bucks, 50% were funky horned asymetrical cull deer. On Friday morning at 7:05 a.m., this buck walked out of the woods by himself 50 yards to my right. I shot him, he ran back into the woods. I knew I'd hit him well so I waited. My wife came to my stand within minutes. She said she saw a 9 point but couldn't get a shot on due to him being in thick cover. She said he was headed in my direction. I climbed down from the tree and let her track the buck I had shot. Sure enough, this was the same deer that "slipped" by her. We were hunting on my dad's 22 acres which is surrounded by homes. This is an urban buck, I've killed many trophy bucks on his measely 22 acres.
