Story: "I wasn't going to hunt this year at all, but my father-in-law and cousin talked me into going. We've hunted this 26 acre peice of land for 15 years so I had a good idea of where I wanted to hunt. I climbed in my treestand about 25 feet up about 30 minutes before daybreak. At 7:00 am I first spotted this buck running 6 or 7 Does about 80 yards away, before I could turn around he chased one out of site. I spotted him again 25 minutes later chasing three Does towards my father-in-laws stand. I had given up, I just knew he was going to kill him. Then close to 8 o'clock I spotted the Does working their way up beside me with this buck right on their trail. The Does turned and cut right in front of me at 25 yards and the buck followed suit. At 8:00 am straight up I touched the trigger. The buck ran about 50 yards away died. Over the last 15 years we've had over 40 bucks harvested off of our little 26 acres but none as big as my first buck."
