Story: On that Tuesday evening around 4:30 I was up against a Cedar tree when I saw a doe to my left. I couldn't scope her do to fog. While cleaning the lens, the doe bounded off and on her trail was this massive 4 1/2 yr old 9 point. I raised my muzzleloader, took aim and shot. My heart was pounding and being near dusk, I managed to reload and went to where I had last saw him. When I came up to the drainage ditch I mistook a white bolder for his belly. My heart sank! After a minute or so, I saw his track leading up the trail. Creeping through a cedar thicket 20 or 30 yards I saw him standing facing away from me. I dropped and belly crawled about 15 yards to get a broadside shot. BOOM!! Down he went! Green score:157 1/3 and As Typical 7:152 1/4
