Been seeing alot of posts about cull bucks. When did it become cool to start justifying any buck that's not a monster as a cull buck?

I think some people use that as an excuse for it not being a wall hanger. Everybody hunts for their own reasons. Be happy! Thats what hunting is all about.

Agree, or gives the best shot. Believe it or not there's still meat hunters. The only time that I may possibly pass a smaller buck is hunting the national forest, but that's due to low deer numbers.

I don't use social media. I killed a 6.5 yr old 250 lb buck last year that was a 15" wide 6 pt. I call him a cull. It wasn't an excuse to kill a subpar buck. My goal is to kill a mature buck.

Yes, but what is a "cull buck". This deer is just as likely to pass on genes for a giant deer as a small one.
