Before You Contact Us

Please read the following notes carefully before reaching out. Some common issues can be handled directly by you:

  • General Questions: Post your questions in the forums. We don’t respond to questions that should be posted publicly.
  • Account Recovery: If you’ve lost access to your account, try resetting your password here: Lost Password Form. If you cannot reset it, we’re unable to help recover the account.
  • Classified Disputes: TNDeer does not mediate or get involved in buying/selling disputes.
  • Spam or VPN Bans: If you're banned for spam, try turning off your VPN and registering with a different email.
  • Moderation: If your post is waiting for approval, please be patient.

  4. Follow the link in your email to reset it

💬 How to Post in the Classifieds or Use Private Messages

To post in the classifieds, we now require a paid membership upgrade. You can upgrade your account here: TNDeer Account Upgrades.

To use the private message (PM) system, you must have at least 15 meaningful posts — not just one-word replies. A great way to get started is by introducing yourself to the community here: Introductions Forum.

  • Do not post personal contact info (emails, phone numbers)
  • Avoid risky payment methods (e.g., PayPal F&F, Venmo, Zelle)
  • Use TNDeer's message system to keep a record of your transaction
  • Verify who you're dealing with before sending payment
  • Report suspicious users immediately

Can I mail a check for membership? 💵

We understand that some members prefer to pay by check or money order. If you'd like to mail a payment for a premium membership, please contact us first to confirm the mailing details and amount.

Be sure to include the following with your check:

  • Your username

We do not recommend relying on your email address alone, as many accounts have outdated or incorrect emails.

Important: If your check is returned or bounced, your account will be immediately terminated.

Please allow 4–6 weeks for mailed payments to be processed and applied to your account. If it’s been longer or you have a question, feel free to send us a private message.
