a big streamer called a the gobblin not forsure the exact name at web store , but it looks like a big bead head woolly bugger , only caught 2 fish one 10 incher then this brute. My buddy that was fishing beside me caught a nice 17 inch 2 pound rainbow.

Your post brings back a lot of fond memories of fishing there back in the 1960's. I worked at the TVA Appachlia (sp?) powerhouse above Reliance in the Park. Many a day I fished before or after a work shift there. I mean a bunch of days. In all that fishing I only caught on large Rainbow, weighted almost 5 pounds, remember I caught it on a black leadhead jig. Some of the most enjoyable times of my life spent fishing there. I usually fished from the bank in the powerhouse discharge.
Thanks for posting and letting an old man going back down memory lane.
