Not sure why you're saying "junk".
If those two largest-antlered ones are only 2 1/2 yrs old, they are above average.

I can't say how old they are, but suspect they might be only 2 1/2.
If that's the case, you have a great opportunity at some very nice 3 1/2's should they survive another year.

To me, they all look "nice". :)

Or is it junk as in stickers and odd points? I don't know but I too like the wide 6. Good luck this year

The reason I call it junk is Im comparing this years crop to the past few. Im a trophy hunter, and to me that means old mature deer not young 2 year olds with tiny racks. This is my 2014 crop

Well you must have a good one or two hiding somewhere...trail cams don't guarantee a 100% census of your deer

Granted I usually have tons of corn out this time of year and this year Im trying not to put anything out other than minerals. Corn gets really expensive year after year. I have also noticed that after a while the old and bigger bucks quit coming to the corn as hunting season approaches. So im hoping the older ones show up sooner or later.

They get horny and start roaming so you'll see em. I've seen places void of older bucks but chock full of does and yearlings that end up with fat mature bucks come November.

I wouldn't worry about it, I've had my cams out for 2 weeks, with only a boat load of does, 2 spikes and a 6 pt. To show for it. But Thursday eve. I seen 50 different bucks within a 1/4-1 mile radius from our place.

All the hunting clubs around us seem to practice QDM. I hope to benefit from that this year. I practice it as well.....As much as I can anyway. The Wilkerson buck was killed on the next property over a few years ago. There was a write up in North American Whitetail on that monster. I shot zero that year.

Needless to add, so far I have seen nice deer, just not.....This nice.

Honestly I have no idea. I bought it at walmart. Its like a 5-6 mp solid green skinny one. I had it one a tree and I left it there with new batteries all winter. I put it out around 12-1-14 and went back around the first of June 2015 and it was still taking pictures. For the money it cant be beat.

I never have any bucks on one place I hunt and always see bucks at that magical time. On the other hand, another property I hunt is loaded with bucks and I never see one after the season starts. Part of the game we play.
