Depends on what YOUR goals are when harvesting a buck...? If your looking at killing a fully mature deer then I would say give him another year because I'd put this buck at 3.5...if your goal is to kill a 125" deer then nock him down...if the goal is to kill a 140" buck then I'd say pass...it ultimately is a question that only you as an individual can answer "is this a shooter?"

I agree with tree ghost, probably 3.5 but a great buck so it depends on your personal standards

What I consider a shooter is not based on his rack, but on his age. I like to shoot nothing under a 3 year old. I think hes that, but not sure. Its on a farm that I could lose before next season. Its for sale with a house and I can not talk the owners into selling it without the house.

you better give him a goodnight kiss because I would lay him down. But, as the others have said, It's all in what you personally want.

I would puff him.
:smash: Im going with this.
This deer is coming by this stand at 3:00-3:30 almost every morning and walking down to a bean field. He then comes back right after daylight. I think I will get there an hour before daylight and see if I cant let some air out.
