age opinions

I'm curious what y'all say about these two. Top one is possibly the deer I missed with my bow.. I felt like the deer I shot at was wider, but then again its hard to say in the woods. I think he's 6.5 and right at or just shy of 140" I know there was a bigger one in there last year but its hard to say if this is the deer I shot at or not.. the one last year was 18" wide and just as good length so I'm still leaning towards it being the deer I shot at.

The smaller one is a 6x4 10.. I think 2.5.. I passed him up chasing six does. I was still hunting and they got within ten yards.. He hopped a log right by me.. pretty exciting to say the least. I'm taking my girlfriend to watch the spot I missed the big one at this evening.. she's into passing young bucks already but I told her to shoot the 10 if she wants. Id love to see her get that 8 . He's no doubt 5.5 but most likely 6.5+ I also have a pic of him two years ago.. didn't grow a bit

The 6x4 does look young, could possibly be 3.5 but I agree looks only 2.5. How far did you have to roam from your home range to pick up a girl who hunts with you and lets young bucks walk? good luck on that old deer, he's a trophy too.

Idk man sometimes we just get luck on ohr side.. She found me and I'm glad she did lol! Shes already got a nice 7 point on just the 5 acres they hunt. That ain't what's got me excited though.. she said she's always wanted to go shed hunting arty:

y'all come to mid TN one day for a shed hunt. I can't guarantee antlers but knowing your luck and the land around here there sure is a good chance.

I agree, the young buck looks 2.5
