Both really healthy looking. You have a history with the one you say is 2? If he is he has great potential down the road.

He was still running with his mom last year. Was a 6 point as a yearling. Shape and brow tines gave him away this year. I have seen him 3 or 4 times a week since late May. I planted beans late, and all the rain has the clover growing fast. All the deer here are fat.

Man look where we have come in the great Volunteer state in the last 20 years......................this is getting to be more and more common place here!! I love it! 8-)

They both look 3 to me ? Pretty deer.

I said 2 year old because he's a 2 year old.

Ok then. That settles it. We'll disregard empirical evidence to the contrary and go with your hunch.

Perhaps you missed my explanation of how I know he's 2. Not sure what caused your attitude, or why it's hard to believe he's only 2? But I do appreciate you letting me know it's settled. It gets old when people know more about a deer from one picture than I do when I see them nearly everyday.

Got any pics of him from last year?
I'm sure I do. My laptop with 6 years of pictures has been missing since my divorce, in January. Casualty of war. Possible that he's in the background of some old emails. I will see what I can find.

I'm guessing his attitude was a response to the tone of your response to Chart. Nothing to get ruffled about, but it definitely came across as high and mighty without any explanation for your certainty.

Good deer. Maybe you'll keep track of him for a couple more years.

Don't they both have their head turned?

I reckon they do, hillbilly. I should have said the one looking away from the camera is 3. Sorry for the confusion.
