I forgot about this too.
The last trip to the White River we were drifting along and I was just throwing a roostertail and reeling it in S L O W and this gave me time to just watch what we drifted over.
Saw some pretty good trout but then I saw something that I wanted to catch BAD.
It was a yellow perch (identified by the stripes on it's back) that HAD to be at least 14" if not longer.
Looked to be about as big around as a baseball bat.
Only thing I could think of was ease the roostertail near him but he squirted off to the side before I could get the angle on him.
Gonna have to take some red worms on my next trip over there.
