Be hard for me to let him walk!! If he makes you happy , let er rip!! If you have your doubts let him walk!!

I have been watching him for the past 2 years on camera. He must be a very smart deer. Never have I saw him once in daylight. Very very few pics of him in daylight also. Gonna say he is 5 yrs old give or take .5

"Probably" :)
He does have a unique set of wide antlers with those very inward curving (and nice) brows.
I'd like to see more pics later, mainly to guess his age.
If I thought he were 4 1/2 or older, my answer is "shooter".

But what if it appeared he was only 2 1/2
?

I figure this buck is at least 3 1/2,
but certainly can't say how old he is without more to go by.

That deer is a shooter IMO. Fully mature deer with some very unique antlers...no hesitation from my stand!

He is a very unique deer I will say myself. He was wide last year but this year he is taller for sure. My house sits in the summer bachelor groups bedroom. The other night I had 18 bucks and 11 does in the field. Sit on the front porch and watch 1 group come from one side and the other group come straight through the yard. When season gets close they want to play hide and seek and they are better at hiding than I am at seeking.
Put a new set of batteries in camera and freshened up the lick so maybe he will keep coming.

What is a 'shooter' to you?

He won't score well, but he does appear to be fully mature. In my book, any mature buck regardless of score (save those with broken racks) are 'shooters' to me.

Only you know if he's a shooter or not. A mature buck is deemed a shooter by most but personally, if the antlers don't impress me the buck walks regardless of age. I guess that makes me greedy but so be it. That's also why I don't rack up a lot of buck kills, lol.

Let's see the pix from the last 2 years

I will have to dig through some old cards and see if I can find them. I usually save them on my SD card in my phone since it's a 32gb but something happened to it and lost everything I had on it. But I do have a few nice ones I found on a sd card from 2015 and just a couple from 16
