2.5 or 3.5 year old?

Had a brief encounter with this dude Saturday morning... He's getting a pass if he makes it to muzzleloader but I'm not sure I'll hold off given the chance with my bow...

Typically hard to accurately distinguish 2 1/2's from 3 1/2's on those dates.
Should be much easier in about 3 weeks.

I'm leaning towards 3 1/2.
But in a month, he could look more like a 4 1/2, or a 2 1/2.
