The deer is mature, IMO.... structurally front half way bigger than back half.
But the real question in my mind is why is he so underweight for his age? He is either an unhealthy 4.5 y/o or a very old deer going downhill and losing muscle mass. That's where prior years pics come in handy... I wouldn't surprise me at all to find out he's 7.5 or 8.5

Last year my 15 year old hunted him hard but he never would show up in daylight.This year he is WAY more visible than the past. If yall'd like I'll post the year by year pix of him.
