How is everyone doing? Yall gettin ready to get after some big velvet bucks? I got a question i wanted to ask you fellas. Does anyone know of any websites to buy either Used or Refurbished Trail Cameras? I kmow of Trailcampro.com thats the only website i know.

Another question. Has anyone used any of the cheap trail cameras like the ones off Amazon? If so which ones and what'd ya think of em? I been wanting to get few cheap ones that i can put out here in Western Ky on a few places on public land i hunt. Aint no way im going to put out any of my good cameras on public land cause they ALWAYS seem to grow legs and walk off! LoL I appreciate any info you fellas might have, Take Are and Best of Luck!
 
Picked up a couple of Tascos at Walmart, $28 and $38. Friend told me about them and has been running 4 or 5. Day time pictures looked fine that he showed me but he said the camera struggles if it needs a flash or not, this would be at dusk and dawn. I figure if I can see their antlers then it's good enough for me. I truly don't expect them do be all that good at night for a cheap camera. They are both red glows.
 
I second the Walmart $28 Tasco. I bought 1 last year to try and ended up going back and buying several more. The only issue I've had is the same as mentioned above. Everyone once in awhile I'll get a jacked up pic at dawn or dusk due to the flash not activating correctly but not often enough to really concern me. Night pics are good to. Here's a couple pics taken with the tasco.

I would avoid the cheap Chinese no name knock offs for now.... there are a million brands on sale at amazon for $29 each, but they aren't worth the headache yet.

For sure, the cheaper cameras from the name brands (stealth, Moultrie, WGI, tasco, etc) have come a LONG way in the past 5 years and are viable replacements for the $200-$400 cameras that were the gold standard just a few years ago. I think the reliability of the cheaper cameras will continue to improve, and the more expensive brands (bushnell, browning, covert, reconyx, etc) will be forced to drop prices to compete.
