For the first time in nearly 20 years I wasn't able to hunt the Tennessee opener! Disappointed I headed to my local pubic land hear in Blue Ridge, Georgia. After hearing nothing off the roost I continued down a logging in which I heated a faint gobble in the distance.. 1/2 mile later I hit a call and was greeted by 3 long beards gobbling down the ridge. Quickly I stuck out a decoy and got set up. 5 mins later this beautiful bird and his buddies came in strutting and gave me a 25 yard shot!
