Killed first one Sunday morning about 11:00. Circled all the way around me and ended up shooting him left handed. 2 year old bird. 22 lbs, 8.5" beard and 7/8" spurs. Second one was this morning a little after 7:00. 24 lbs. 10.5" beard and 1 1/4" spur on one leg. Other spur was broke off. Both with 20ga TSS 9.

Congrats, really enjoy the left handed story. You have to overcome the obstacles they throw at you, and very few are as challenging as a bird circling you tight and coming in on your bad side. Thanks for sharing.

How far was the left-handed shot? I contemplated it one time, but could not hold the gun steady enough.

About 25 yards. He saw me trying to get turned and was just fixing to leave when I shot.
