I was able to catch this one by himself earlier this week on public land. There was over an hour standoff after he flew down but eventually he lost his patience and come in to find me. He went past me and I had to turn on the tree and call him back and of course he came up on the nastiest side possible! I had to wait for him almost to walk past me the other way to get a clear shot. First bird I have killed with the Stevens 301 20 gauge single shot! They are Great little guns.
