Monster in Marshall County

Watched that one for awhile. It was very visible behind elks lodge and even sometimes on the putput golf course. He ran with another big wide buck all summer. Pretty tame would often be within 100 yards of people walking dogs and going about daily life.

Agree. Kinda seeming a little suspicious.
I haven't heard a name and don't know but around here big buck pics make there rounds quick unless they don't want it to be recognized 15 miles away on someone's trail cam no where near where they can hunt. Don't know a name and hope that's not the case, but unusual.

We leased a huge farm in laws hill a decade ago. On a deadend rd. Really good habitat. Only problem was the owner was crazy. He would intentionally do weird farming practices to mess you up. He was bush hogging corn stalks (from a freshly cut field at 6 am on sunday morning on opening weekend, for a field he never planted back in wheat. I think he just like to ride his tractor around and look at ya. Also, coyotes were protected at all costs

I'm beginning to think this deer doesn't exist :p
Nah, he's real. I've got a cousin who used to lease a place down by old man Hopkens farm. Been watching him for years on camera and once saw him try to make a scrape on the astroturf of the putt-putt course. But his computer crashed and he lost all the pictures of him. Him and the guy that killed him used to date the same girl and their parents go to church together. Anyway, he went down to the guy's shop last week to borrow a torque wrench and they had just pulled the deer out of the trunk of his girlfriends car. Apparently his truck is in the shop. The guy wasn't taking pics untill he could get his sponsorships lined up with Acorn Rage and nail down a pro-staff title with Bone Collector, but my cousin snuck one when he wasn't looking.

Here he is. Looks familiar, so he must have shown me some of the old trail cam pics before.

WOW!!!!

To be clear, my entire comment was tongue-in-cheek. I have no idea who killed the deer in Marshall County or if a big deer was even killed. The picture I posted is the Pennyrile buck killed in 2006. He was killed by a Mennonite guy so there are no pics of the hunter, just the deer. Because of that the deer makes the rounds on the internet every season being falsely attributed to someone else killing him recently.

I just think the buildup of the big deer in Marshall Co. with no actual evidence or pics is funny. If one was killed the only reasons I can think of to hide it would be (1) it was killed under suspicious circumstances or (2) someone is trying to profit with some type of exclusive publicity arrangement.

Kinda thought it looked familiar but you got me. (3) some people don't want everyone know they killed a giant on their property.

Admittedly, you got me . In my defense, 1/2 my mind was on work lol. When it came to the "sponsors", it really didn't surprise me these days and I rolled my eyes and went back to work

This one was killed same timeframe and county but heard it was from near Saddle Creek golf course. Could be what people are talking about.

Well, to be honest I am still skeptical! I have had people asking all over. Then, I received a pic. Same date as I was told. Monday Oct. 19th. I am still trying to confirm! If you know the guy then please confirm! Pardee Rd area!
