In a river hopefully!
29" on a fly I tied.

And yes I need a haircut but haven't gone after hearing a stylist infected 26 customers! That's next week!

Very nice!! It's a shame the only way you can catch one is to beat it with that buggy whip in your mouth...............😂😂
Just so I you're not disappointed. I had my buddy take a photo of one I caught with them thar fancy spinning rods!! There's a CHINESE Z mAn soft plastic hanging out of it's mouth. 7 trout liked that bait too!

Very nice 7mm08. Im dying to get out and do some fishing. Due to pandemic I skipped my trip to Cape San Blas last year but there ain't no way in hell I will miss it again this summer. Even though I haven't lived on the gulf coast since 1977, the saltwater still runs in my veins.

Good deal on both reds. How were you fishing the paddle tail? Sight casting into them or fishing known structures?
Fishing this rig when I wasn't flyfishing. I'm trying to learn this mess. Salt strong Z man soft bait on this hook. We caught the trout on falling water next to weeds but the reds on low tide ( 1-2 hours ) towards dead. Flipper loves to eat reds. They hug the bank or get in skinny water to avoid him. We actually saw today flipper busting up a school of reds that we couldn't get into. You could see almost the entire dolphin out of water trying to get at them. My friends Blackjack 224 with jackplate can get skinny but not that skinny.

How do you like the Blackjack? I fished on one once but it was slick calm so hard to tell much about it.
That BLACKJACK 224 is awesome! Fishes skinny, but handles chop without any problems. On an average day we can put 10-20 miles on it easy running around St Helena Sound & ACE basin

if I didn't love my Scout 201 I would try to get one of these..... at one point I looked down and JIM was running 48 mph and it was so smooth. You stay dry as well. my buddy got an awesome deal.
