TNDeer's Deer Assassin, along with his friends, Mike and David, paid a visit to the Scenic City yesterday to chase some crappie with me. It was a strange day. We estimate that we easily caught well over 200 crappie. Unfortunately the majority (but not all) were under the legal size limit (10-inches). No telling how many we caught that were 9 and 7/8's inches long. 
They'll be big enough to keep next week. But, the threesome are hardcore and hung tough. Forty (40) nice crappie found there way into the livewell and won a free trip back to Middle Tennessee. It was an action-packed day and tons of fun! I love my job!
