Recommend me a great bream rod. All opinions welcomed. Tell me why or why not to buy certain ones. By the way I have the reel already. It's a pfleuger president.

It's not a $20 rod but sniper made me one that is absolutely perfect!
Stiff backbone but soft fast tip.

Another really good rod is a Diawa Laguna.
Very cheap and awesome performance and feel.

If I was gonna buy a store bought rod that's what it would be.

i have several rods for different techniques and all of them are light and medium light action rods and they also double as crappie rods. the one i always seem to pick up is a bnm sam heaton super sensitive 7' light action(redesigned). ive used it for everything from casting 1/64 and 1/32oz up shallow to drop shot off the creek ledges and shell beds for post spawn bulls.

they are not expensive like a st croix but feel very similar.

How much we talking, and how do I get one from sniper?

St Croix Panfish series in 6'4 is what I use. Coupled with a Daiwa Fuego LT 2500 series reel. It's the finest combo I've had in my hands. But, I've never had a custom made rod.
I was thinking hard about a st. Croix. Thanks for the feedback. By the way, I got the fish finder on the boat. It's perfect buddy. Thanks again

I am a huge fan of the Ugly Sick Lite Pro rods. I have 2 of them and they are the ones I choose the most when I go out fishing. They also aren't as hard on the wallet.

I'm busy with this at the moment but will be home in a few days and we can get back to building rods.
