Another age question

This buck is still around and is looking similar, antler-wise, to last year. What's everyone's best guess on how old he was last year?

Here's a picture of him chasing a doe at almost 1PM last November! I think I saw him one time but couldn't get a clear shot. He's definitely at the top of the target list for this year!

Just goes to show how difficult it is to age a buck from a single picture. The first picture looks most like 4 1/2. But in the 2nd "chasing" picture, I would say no older than 3 1/2.
 
Based on the chasing pic, I would guess 3.5. Funny how nighttime and daytime pics can make a deer look different. He looks much thicker in the first pic.
 
Here are a couple of him from last September. He obviously hadn't put on his muscle mass from the rut at this time.

I believe this buck was 4 1/2 or older in the fall of 2020.

Just goes to show how difficult it is to age a buck from a single picture. The first picture looks most like 4 1/2. But in the 2nd "chasing" picture, I would say no older than 3 1/2.
I think it is that single chasing picture that is most misleading.
He seems 4 1/2 or older in all the others.

Love to see a current pic :)
