After getting my livescope installed and buying another battery just for it I lost my storage in the front of my boat, under my deck.
I had 4 plastic totes in the area where I kept all my whacky worms, other soft baits, hooks etc.
Basically all my bass fishing soft baits.
I have one tackle box for all my bream / crappie fishing.
Then I have all my hardbaits and everything else I use for bass fishing in a couple other tackle boxes.
If I am going to be bass fishing I always carry my bream box and at least one rod with me, cause I'm not a very good bass fisherman and I hate to miss a chance at some bream. :D

I think I am going to go with a boat bag... didn't know what they were called till the other day.
Thinking I can get all my hard baits in there plus several packages of soft baits and terminal gear.
Then I will only have the one big bag plus my bream box.
That will save alot of room, which will come in handy when I have someone else fishing with me.

Can't really think of a better option.
I do know this, no matter how big or small your boat is, you need more storage. :D

Unless I run up on someone here that has one laying around they don't use I'm gonna order this one in a couple days.

im fixin to rip out my front livewell and build a storage space for bait boxes and my electronics battery. doesnt work any way. when i bought the boat one tech played a joke on the tech setting up my boat and plugged the front livewell and i dont have an aerator nozzle for it. good help is hard to find.

The triton ta196 i bought has the drop down front deck so no forward storage compartments. It did have a baitwell in front of the drivers console, but i plugged it up and use the baitwell for storage now.I put all my baits in a back compartment for now,but bought a okeechobee fats tackle bag the other day.Gonna fill it with all my top crappie baits and accessorys.

We had one of the yellow bags from bAss pro that we carried extra stuff out on the tritoon.

It lasted three summers before falling apart.

It's taken me awhile, but I've figured out that if it has a bAss pro label on it, it's junk.

JMHO...YMMV

They are both pretty much the same. The offshore angler I think has a more corrosion resistant zipper. The lighter color will keep it a little cooler in the sun. And, the corded top lets me put a towel there readily accessible.

Plus it is on sale right now.
Got ya thanks!

I've had this Shimano tackle bag for a really long time, and it's been an absolute jim dandy bag. I started with the larger one they made for the larger boxes, but it was just too much to carry, so I got the smaller one, and it's been great. Holds a crap ton of lures, worms, and terminal tackle. I think this one weighs in about about 20 pounds with all the stuff I have packed into it.

Not sure if they make them anymore, tho...

I had plans on buying the same one...that is until I read all the reviews. Apparently, it is pretty cheap, bad zipper etc. Not my review.
