I have decided this year to try my luck at spider rigging for crappie. I've only fished a small deep lake on the Hatchie NWR so far (trip #2) and today was slow. Caught 5, kept 4, (2 crappie and 2 bass) one of the crappie was a nice 12.5" slab. Getting ready to try some bigger waters. Maybe in a couple weeks Reelfoot or Ky Lake.
