Tristar raptor youth 20 gauge with carlson tss 555 and longbeard xr 568, the 555 blew the pattern but the 568 was the ticket with the federal tss 11/2 oz #9, im not gonna even shoot my burgess creek or ninjas in this one till i use up the four boxes of the old federals😂 forgot to add 40 yards taped

That is a nice pattern with that .568 even and no voids Yeah typically the TSS because of the amount of shot in a shell likes a little more open constriction it seems. Now my Mossberg 535 shoots lights out with a .660 constriction which is tight for 12 gauge shooting either 2 or 2 1/4 ounces of TSS. But it puts a great pattern out there.

Found the EXACT same thing on mine. Identical results. If you want something that will make it a little better, look at the titewad. At .570 it seems to shine. In my TSS journey I've learned for sure they like a more open choke, which is completely opposite of what I've learned from lead.

My wife has the tristar raptor youth 20ga. She wont shoot tss. She thinks it cost too much. She's using longbeard xr 5 shot. And longbeard xr choke. I dont think it cost too much. But by next yr. I will be loading my own 410 and 28 and 20 ga tss loads.

Both carlson choke good out of mine. The xr choke was little better. I have a mossberg SA 20ga turkey gun 22 inch barrel. I order a patternmaster anaconda. 570 turkey choke too try. Never shot the xfull turkey choke. I am shooting federal 9 shot too. I wanted some apex ninja too try. But everyone was sold out at the time. Plus i couldn't find a Indian Creek. 565 for my mossberg.
