Sweet talked a mountain gobbler this morning. I got on this same bird last weekend but couldn't get the deal done. After the fog lifted this morning, I got him fired up and he was dead within a few minutes. Lot of boot leather and sore legs went in to killing this one. First of the season for me and first bird I've killed with tungsten loads I rolled myself. I've got the breasts brining now, and I plan on throwing them on the smoker tomorrow. God is good.
