Wife calls me a pervert but I watched a big boy cover a hen this evening. Third time I've seen it this season and 4th time in 2 years and all have been in last hour of the day. 1 hen actually flew to roost when she came out from under him.

Wife and I went for a walk last night after dinner right at sundown. Got to the end of the street and a bird was gobbling his head off. Made my day as I love hearing that sound.

In our yard this morning....the hen was just inside the woods....another tom was in the bottom field gobbling.... beutiful morning.

This morning while having my coffee on the back deck there was a Tom hammering about every 30 seconds over on the neighbor's place. It's a sound that never gets old.
