Eli's Orvis Battenkill 3wt
the little metal piece inside the reel feel off and don't know how to put it back
it's not making the "clicky" noise when we reel it

help needed please

Pop the spring out that holds it in place, slide the pawl back over the post, and then reinsert the spring. If it's a click and pawl model.

If it's a disc drag one take a picture and send it to me

This dude was fixing reels in high school behind the counter in a great flyshop way back when……. Then he started practicing turkey calls while he was in the shop….. the rest is history!

My reels don't go "clicky clicky"
Send it back.
That's why I use Echo reels.

thanks fellas, I found an old battenkill box that had the manual in it. My buddy looked at it and said to much backing on it, oh well it works!
