Throw an alabama rig, it gets more common then. 
Very nice... never had a double
I was fishing with a buddy on the lower Ocoee once when he caught his first double, two spots in this case. He was pretty excited about it and then we paddled about another mile downstream and he did it again!
Caught 2 on a rattle trap long time ago

Yeah it was a blast. I couldn't believe how the fish were so aggressively attacking the same lure. If it had 5 hooks I could have got all of them.

This time of year is when I have it start happening more than the rest of the yr. Those little wolf packs of bass are gorging on shad. Not uncommon to be reeling one in and have several others follow it to the boat trying to get the bait from the fish you are reeling in. I love it. This was a first for me last week. I've caught doubles before but never a largemouth and smallmouth at the same time. Caught on a topwater Pop-R. One flopped off as I got them in the boat and I didn't want to rehook them just for a picture. They harassed bait balls of shad for over an hour, running them up on the bank. Fun times ahead! It only gets better from now through November.
That's when you KNOW your fishing with the correct lure.
I could tie on the same lure and it still wouldn't be the correct one!
