Or Active Target for me. My homemade pvc job has worked well, but its less than ideal. Need to get a true mount and pole system. Any recommendations. I want to keep it simple and not crazy expensive

Where do you mount your set up now??? Why not go with something like a cornfield fishing mount and use the trolling motor foot pedal to control it... I have a dub l seat mount on my terrova and wish id gone with the cornfield fishing...
I have heard of cornfield mounts but definitely dont want it on trolling motor
And im awful with a foot pedal for trolling motor

Yes im leaning that way. Did you buy the kit from bass pro or order directly from them. Sounds like they have designs specific for most boat manufacturers
Fishing Specialties here, but I want a Sniper Marine one. It's built right here in Tennessee. Their shop is just up the road from me in Vonore. If you're interested in a Fishing Specialties, I'd sell mine to you for $200. That'll save you a bit on them. Mine has the 90* mount that utilizes the Tracker VersaTrac though.
I have Fishing Specialties on my Tracker Targa with the track mount. Works good and you can take it completely off the boat. Make sure and carry extra break away bolts. I already had an Ultrex trolling motor with 360 bracket or I would have bought target lock.
Got it through Performance Fishing in Camden and they installed.
Post a pic of it. I have a 2021 g3 sportsman 1710. No idea if they are compatible.

Believe your g3 has a 45 degree track system. My Tracker and crow terminator has the 90 degree track system. Fishing Specialties has a 45 degree bracket.
The sniper marine would be my next move going with a manual pole. I like the twist handle control. I had a fishing speciation and it's a good pole as long as you keep everything directly in front of you or you do alot of reaching.
I now have of on a livescanner turret mount that's mounted to my trolling motor and it has really made life easier.
This is the one I have and it works great. I like that I can spotlock my boat is basically any direction and just point my Livescope at what I'm trying to fish without worrying about keeping the bow of the boat pointed in that direction.
I cant get fishing specialties to answer the phone. Are they still in business? Looks like they are based out of Colorado
Thats the kind of mount i want. Would that be considered a gunnel mount?
