First poults I've seen this year. But just got my cams back out this past Sunday.

Nice...very encouraging!
I've been seeing a hen the last week where I was doing tractor work and tried to stay away from her but was messing with a camera this evening and saw her with 10-15 poults running with her smaller than a robin. They couldn't have been very old at all. Posted a picture the other day in the same area with some good sized ones and saw 3 flying some today. Sure hope these little ones make it.
Son in laws dad sent me a pic today of a nest with 11 eggs. He was bushhogging and said he missed the hen by 6". Thought it was late to be sitting but maybe she'll come back.
Here's the hen with the little poults and about 7 minutes later look who shows up.

People just don't realize that coyotes are THE no 1 reason for the turkey decline.
Kill them all, and watch your poult recruitment explode as well as your deer explode.
