First decent buck

I really think this is a double beam buck I had on cam last year. The kicker off his left base gives it away. But if it's the same deer he's obviously not a double beam this year so I could be wrong. Anyone ever seen a double beam not be the same the next year ?

Hoping he puts a lot more on over the next month but he's the best I've seen so far.

Post a pic of the double beam again if you don't mind

I've never seen a double beam buck be a double beam again the next year. In my experience it's a one time thing.

Yes, seen double beams duplicate the next year as well as droptine and forked g2 bucks

Nice buck! Forked 2 and tall brows...cool buck.

I forgot I had one pic of this deer last year that had a small fork on left g2 and a kicker point off the base. Could very well be this deer from last year.
I don't have a lot of experience with double beam deer but I know one my buddy killed some years back he had been chasing it for 3 years when he got them.

This is in Kentucky. Where he's standing is about 300 yards from the TN line. So no velvet hunt here. But usually the first weekend of archery and often times 2nd weekend they still have their velvet on.

Think it is the same deer in the first pic in your post #6. Cool character on him.

We do not. But our archery opener is the first Saturday of Sept so there's always a good chance of a velvet buck.
