I doubt there is any 1 perfect boat for more than a couple applications.
I really love my microskiff for what it's designed to do... get crazy skinny (will float in 5 to 6 inches) chasing tailing reds in shallow ponds.
Almost no freeboard, so wind won't blow you around and poles effortlessly. BUT, no freeboard... so you can take water over the sides in 1-2 ft seas (can handle those seas on plane)
