Poults

On the way home tonight in Rutherford county within about a 1/2 a mile from a place that I can hunt, I saw three hens and no less than 15 poults. Good sign

I was doing some Summer deer scouting in Wilson county one day last week and saw two hens together with no less than a dozen poults between them. Hoping that's a good sign of things to come.

I finally saw some poults in two different locations. 3 hens total. 12 to 15 poults, couldnt get exact count but they were little bigger than a chicken and running around bugging....it was a pleasure to see.

Had three hens and 16 poults in the neighborhood yesterday. Rarely see them here

I have about the same results, 3 hens 15 poults. I can't imagine a nest making it more than a day or two where I live. I have so many predators that love eggs and turkeys. These young were ranging in size from almost as big as the hen to about chicken size. Amazing there are any.

This morning saw two more hens with several poults...couldnt get a count while driving but there were several.

Had 6 hens and 29 poults of different ages in my yard Monday.

Amazing all the poults are relatively the same age. Stars aligned 10w ago!

Then there was this bunch 10 min later. Hard to see, but the faint Grey spots between the two hens are very small poults.
