In a river hopefully!
Water temps have dropped and hopefully the fat girls will start moving.

Something that keeps sane people off the beach!
You know that truly is something I always wondered about. Some years ago wife and I were down in St. Kitts. We were on the beach and a rain storm came up. Nothing horrendous, no lightening. And all of a sudden we found ourselves almost alone. Everyone was scrambling for cover. Thing is the rain was warm.

looking for reds, black drum, bluefish...? inquiring minds etc.👍
Bull reds…… it's about to get fun. As the ocean cools the bulls ( big females) come from offshore to have hanky panky . They can be caught off the beach easily. Average gals run 30-40" and 25-35#. Circle hooks prevent internal damage and quick release is required. SC REDFISH SLOT 15-23".

BTW. I'm 6'7" for photo comparison. Lots of pull from these fish.

i've tried for big reds at Hatteras, but bluefish wouldn't leave our baits alone. caught LOTS of fish in 4 to 6 lb range in Calcasieu on artificials. helped a local land a big red at mouth of Calcasieu jetty he caught on half of a blue crab...that old boy had the dullest gaff i've ever seen.
