Your Killing me smalls!!! Looks like a great trip.
Those specks are fun when they school up after a cold front.
 
I like the slot. I don't understand the sparse limit however.

SC is a 14" limit, no slot, and a 10 fish daily limit.
 
You would think they might band together as they are probably close in the numbers, it is the same bathtub after all. Might run it a year or 2 and recheck see if it helps or no change.

Yea we've got more than enough trout to support 10 fish/day but I do like the idea of slot limits.

With the redfish, though, they need to move that slot. 23" is too small of a cutoff. I'm not a master of redfish or anything but I do alright with them and it seems the majority of the ones I catch are 2-3 inches over slot.

It's fun and all but after driving 3.5 hours, tent camping, and fishing from a kayak, I want that redfish blackened on the halfshell and cooking in butter back at camp. Not swimming.
