Would you pay 36.00 bucks for this unit? I just left wally world and saw they had one left on the shelf. I own more expensive units but I could leave it in the woods and not worry about theft.

i own 7 of them and very happy for the money. i had one that the flash didn't work right out of the box. i called them and shipped it back. 8 days later i had a new 2.0 one at my door. plus if they get stolen...it's not as bad as some of the 100+ ones. yes the quality of pic isn't great when zooming in close, but are very good for the money. I will post some pics I get later when on my other computer.

Sorry for the delay...here you go

I have one. The flash has a mind of its own. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Also, it shuts off periodically for no reason- even with fresh batteries.

If you want proof of deer present, they are worth the money.

thanks guys....pretty sure you just made me consider buying three of them with those pictures. If the constumer service is good there is no excuse for me not to.

I bought one for 37 bucks about 2 months ago. Ive got cams that cost 10X as much also! I have been very surprised with the pic quality and battery life so far. If it lasts one deer season it's worth the money in my book! Don't have to worry about losing alot if someone decides they want to carry it off!

well boys i just went and bought 2 of them...thanks for the advice also. what size card works best for these units?

I have one and it takes better pictures than any other cheapo I have. I'm using a 2 gig SD card. I think that's the max it can hold. Better get some good rechargeable batteries. Mine didn't last long on Rayovac alkalines, but did well with some Accu Evolutions. For the price you can't go wrong and if someone steels it,,,,,Oh well.

2g card is fine.

I gotta tell ya... the other day I checked one of mine and it had 669 pics in a weeks time. I average about 60. Come to find out, with all the wind we'd had a leaf on a limb was triggering it. Had 597 pics of nothing and a few critters.

Good news was my Duracells held up very well with all that action.

I wish I was close to one of those wal-mart stores. I've checked two or three of the closest ones to me, and they don't have them. Cheapest is the $59 IR one.

I seen a bunch at the wal-mart in tri-city area. surprised to see so many at the bristol one...maybe 15 of them. I use 1gb cards and never come close to filling them up, even with 500 pics a week over trophy rock in the summer. battery life is good. I was using the 5.00 for 6 Tractor supply brand C batteries and going a month and changing them out. most still had good ohms on them when i checked them.
