killed this one opening morning i had him gobbling on the roost and a hen landed out in the field about 150 yards away about 2 mins later he hit the ground about 25 yards in front of me looking for the hen i guess he couldn't see her anyway 25 min hunt turkey on the ground 10inch beard 3/4 spurs
this one i killed today about 4:10 i saw the birds out in the field on my home from work there were 2 gobblers and some hens by the time i made it back to the farm the turkeys moved to the back of the field which worked well for me i got up in the woods and eased around the hill and set up i started callin the turkey wouldn't gobble just strut and he wouldn't come any closer i let him walk over the peak of the hill and i moved closer i picked out a spot i needed to be when i got there i called and he hammered and i could see the tips of his fan i called to him agin and he came over a just a little bit more and that was all she wrote 10.5 inch beard and 1inch spurs
