Heard 2 on the roost and decided to go after the one to my left. Only gobbled a few times in the tree and shut up once he hit the ground. After an hour of nothing I was thinking about moving when I saw a coyote walking up the side of the hill headed where I thought the turkeys were. A couple minutes later I heard very unhappy turkeys and as luck would have it they flew my direction and landed 70 yards in front of me. I watched 5 hens and the Tom for over 2 hours just out of range. The Tom was strutting the whole time and I saw him get on top of one of the hens. Finally they feed my way. At 35 yards I pulled the trigger on my new 870. 21 lbs, 9.5" beard, 1" Spurs.
