Osceola down in South Florida. 21lbs, 1-1/16& 1-3/16 spurs 9-3/4 beard

Been slow with little to no gobbling even on the roost. Yesterday we roosted a bird and made a plan for this morning. We got within 75 yds about hour before daylight. At 7:25 hens started flying down and landing 125 yds away from us. Then at 7:32 he flew down to 45 yds of me which was a big mistake on his part. I shot he flopped and almost flopped in a deep ditch with about 6' gator.

Congrats Great bird! Snakes are one thing but Gators! That must keep a man on his toes!

Congrats on getting an Osceola, and having a great time afield. Love the pics, thanks for sharing.

Awesome! Shame they aren't gobbling well. Maybe it'll pick up for you, but great to have one tagged
