We are looking to add 1 member (for a total of 7) to our group in Illinois. We have 5 farms leased in Wayne County. 3 of which have the Little Wabash river flowing through them, and are primarily river bottom timber that adjoin crop ground. The other 2 are primarily timber/CRP, that adjoin crop ground. The farms range in size from 40 to 147 acres. We have the annual exclusive hunting rights to these properties, but we are gun hunting ONLY. Nothing against archery tactics, but our goal is for every member to have opportunity at a buck of their liking. Thus, we have elected to not put any pressure on the deer until the firearm opener. Our efforts have been rewarded!
In addition, we do not have a size/age restriction in place. All that we ask is before you put that buck on the ground, be sure that it is one that you will be happy with....as we will be happy for you. The cost is $1,200, plus we all put in 2 or more stands. BTW, we don't play favorites....meaning that we don't TELL you where you have to hunt. All farms will be open to all members.
