1 Slick Trick

Muddyboots, I shoot the PSE X Force RH with the 6" brace hieght. I may be mistaken but I believe it's the fastest bow on the planet. My arrows are tipped with the 100 grain Slick Trick Magnums and they fly like darts. Killed 8 deer with it last yr. Just go ahead and buy em, I guarantee they will out fly the muzzys with the X Force.

I've been meaning to try the Slick Tricks. I ordered a dozen of them in the summer of '06 and they were back ordered. They ended up sending me 2 dozen instead. I thought that was cool of them. They didnt show up until late October though. I've still got them and they've never been opened. I'm probably going to try them next year. Right now my muzzy's are part of the best set up I've ever had but they are definitely the weakest link. I've been disappointed in them a little. They seem to have a wobbler in every pack now a days. I like the one piece ferrule/tip on the Trick's.

It says on the pack "field point flight" Have you guys found this to be true? That would be great for practicing. Its definitely low profile

Why not use them right now ? They do impact the same as fieldpoints out of my bows and are much better than the Muzzy heads I gave away .

To be honest, I just hate to change up this late in the game. I'll be in a treestand Monday. My set up now is great. I've got a quiver full of arrows that fly perfect. It just took about a dozen broadheads to acheive 5 with absolutely no wobble. It wasn't the insert either. Theres something with the tip and the threads on the ferrule that are a little iffy. Not that it made alot of difference at shooting range (35 or less) but at long distance practice (40 or more) it was more pronounced. It's just a mental thing with me. I don't want it in my quiver unless I'm confident that I can hit where I aim at any range.

I do look forward to trying the Tricks out soon though. I'll be sure and post the reults.
