Had a rough first week. Missed 2 birds before i realized my rear site was knocked back. got that fixed and dropped one Saturday morning.

22.5 lbs
10.5 inch beard

two of us hunting and we had other birds gobbling so i ran out and grabbed him to get back to our setup and he got me pretty good.

I have watched 4 other birds die this year and been close to killing 2 others myself. Alot of season left. Heading to Virginia next week top chase them for 4 days.
 
Boy, that will be a tough cut to heal, right there in the bend of the hand!

Just think, every time you break it open again, you will have fresh memories of a great hunt!

yep. cannot keep a band-aid on it. hunted sunday with a latex glove under my camo glove.

liquid skin burnt so bad i had to rinse it off!
